Lesley cohort first weekend

Our first social studies weekend is going well. We're learning a lot about technology and all the options we have to bring into the classroom.  The amount of resources is almost overwhelming. Everything is out there! Compared to when I was in elementary schools there are a zillion more ways to get kids interacting with the world around them. 

We went on our first geocaching hunt today. This was a brand new adventure for most of us. Who knew this community existed? A lot of people actually... and it was fun to get involved. I'm impressed that there are places all over the world. I'll have to check some out before my next vacation!
